Heading north....

This is going to be a very short Substack, and not just because I’m still catching up on sleep after returning from Download (although I am still catching up on sleep after returning from Download). A weekend where I discovered, to my great surprise, that I’m a massive Linkin Park fan. Who knew? Not me, for starters.

Anyway, don’t judge me for that.

But if you’re anywhere near Hull (this Friday evening) or Leeds (on Saturday afternoon) then I’m there doing a couple of poetry gigs in what we in the Midlands know as ‘the north’. The gig in Hull is at the Adelphi, and is a cracking night of spoken word (I’m attaching the poster as proof) while on the Saturday Emma Purshouse and myself will be doing a PAYF gig at the Fox & Newt on Burley Road. 2pm start.
